LeapForWord partners with Vibha to conduct a training workshop for teachers

One of Vibha’s partner Leap For Word along with Vibha, Shikshana Foundation and BCT,  conducted a 2-day training workshop at Paderu, Andhra Pradesh, wherein the objective was to train the mentors and teachers on Elementary and Advance Reading levels and get to know the challenges faced by them during the COVID situation. Vibha is continuously working towards its mission to provide quality public education to the under privileged.

Vibha donates $5000 towards the education of homeless children in Massachusetts

Vibha, along with its partner School On Wheels of Massachusetts (SOWMA), has continued to strive to educate the underprivileged children even during the tough times of the on-going COVID19 pandemic. Recently Vibha made a $5000 donation to SOWMA to support Massachusetts students impacted by homelessness.

‘Some-More Fun’ Summer Camps By Vibha Dallas Action Center

Fifty youth and two adult instructors from the Vibha Dallas Action Center came together and conducted 48 whopping summer camps over a period of 3 months from June – August this year. There were 450 participants and a total $7500 was raised.

Vibha Atlanta organized a very successful in person Dream Mile

Dream Mile is one of Vibha`s Flagship annual run/walk fundraising events. This is the 23rd year of the in-person event in Atlanta. On 19th September Vibha Atlanta organized a very successful in person event. A very beautiful Sunday morning saw 1000 people participate in the race in 5 categories 1K walk,  5K walk, 5K run,10K run and Half Marathon. More than 150 Volunteers worked countless hours to organize and execute the event. COVID precautions were taken throughout the event. They were able to raise about $275K through the event. The funds raised will go towards post COVID education initiatives.
The title sponsor of the event was Paramount Software Solutions. We would like to thank all the sponsors without whom the event would not have been possible.
