Roshni’s family was going through severe financial constraints. Her mother managed to find a small job at Gulf. The dire situation forced Roshni to discontinue her studies after 6th standard. She made flower garlands (Gajara) on contract to support her family.
After HEARDS’ intervention she was able to attend Thottapatti School for 2 years. She was then admitted in government school in 8th standard, managed to finish her SSC, and at present she is in college pursuing vocational course in accounts. She manages to study on her own without any coaching classes. She dreams to work at the bank in her near future.
